Chronology of the events:
1991 year – formation of the facility “Volgorechensk Trubny Zavod” and the beginning of the construction of the pipe mill;
1993 year – formation (on the above base) of a subsidiary of joint-stock company “Kostromatrubinvest” of RAO Gazprom (hereafter renamed JSC "Gazprom trubinvest");
2000 year – the first pilot lot of the welded small-diameter water/gas pipes;
2003 year – the beginning of the project on organization of manufacture of welded small-diameter tubing and casing;
2008 year – the completion of the investment project on the startup of the Small-diameter Production Pipe Shop (TsTMD) with the full-body heat treatment and finishing lines as well as coating application line;
2011 year – the beginning of the project on organization of manufacture of welded medium-diameter pipe;
2015 year – the completion of the 1st phase of the investment project on the startup of the Medium-diameter Production Pipe Complex (KTSD) with the full-body heat treatment and finishing lines;
2017 year – the beginning of the 2nd phase of the investment project that has 3 stages:the startup of one more finishing line, the construction of the seamless coupling stock, the organization of the manufacture of seamless tubing, casing and line pipes.
At present JSG "Gazprom trubinvest" has one of the most sophisticated manufactures of the electric-welded pipe on the territory of Europe. The equipment installed in the process lines is only from the global brands and in accordance with the latest standards and technical achievements that allow us to manufacture tubular goods to the most stringent customer requirements.
On the territory of the facility, which is 58 hectares, there are plain-end pipe, heat treatment, pipe and coupling threading and conservative coating application sections. The production capacity is 500 thousand tons of tubular goods per year.
The consumers of JSC "Gazprom trubinvest" tubular goods are all large extraction companies of the Russian oil industry (PAO Gazprom, PAO Gazprom Neft, PAO NK Rosneft, ОАО Surgutneftegas, PAO Lukoil, PAJ Tatneft named after Shashin D. and others).
